hey guyz i jus bought my self a 1999 RED SEL MAXIMA with every option. "i love the red color". it got 72k and i bought it for 9K. is it a good price for it. so i be in 4th and 5th gen now. what you think bout price guyz?

 

congrads, price isnt bad since its a rare car. specially in red. its like a ITR for the rice boy's

 

I'm continually amazed at how cheap used Maximas are in the US, relative to Canada! That car here in Vancouver, BC would be worth about C$17,000 or US$12,600 at current exchange rates. Even if I'm high and its only C$15,000, thats still US$11,150.

 

That is cheap even for here for a 99 SEL, I have seen them go for 11K or so as well here.

congrats on the purchase of the SE-L, and finding one in a crimson blase red color, treat 'er right and it'll last you a lifetime

watch out for those ignition coils

 

Man, I wish there we're more Red 4th gen's here. Oddly, I've yet to see one in the Seattle area. There are a crapload of Glacier Pearl/Artic Pearl 4th gen's, but not a single Red one!

I have never even seen one on any road or car dealership around here. In fact I havn't even seen one at all.

 

did they make 99 altimas in red?
I've seen one today.....same red as the SE-L maxima....

 

Yup, they are also rare but theyre out there.

 

ditto on the crimson blaze altimas....seen a few here in the DC area.

And congrats on the SE-L...makes me regret not pulling the trigger back in December when I coulda got one (loaded out da @ss) for $13k (41k miles).
