The horn on my 93' isn't cutting it and I was wondering if anyone had put in a louder horn in their max...Im not talkin about an air horn, but an upgrade from stock.

I was checking them out in Pep Boys and saw an "OEM replacement" with 125 dB and then a "louder" horn with 132 db. Does anyone know the how many decibals the 3rd gen horn has?

Anyway, I was just checking to see if anyone could reconmend a model or brand that they like...

I'm using a set of Hella Supertones in my car...I really love them. 118db of "Get the f*ck outta of my way b*tch". Haven't heard much about the horns pep boys has though.

Piaa also sells a european style "sport" horn for around $50.

I believe that Pepboys sells Fiame (sp) horns. They are a very good product. I put the high and low tone horns in my 95 and what a diff. They were the high db one....I think it was called the freeway blaster....did it so long ago

I just picked up the 130 dB model today. Is the install easy? Does the harness from the stock horn just unplug or am I going to have to do some rewiring??

what do the Hella Supertones sound like? high pitch or what? right now i have 3 airhorns, 1 stock horn, and 1 fiamm horn but I want LOUDER
