im sure yyou guys have been asked this many times before. im looking to buy an 02 - 03 max in vegas its next to impossible to find a six speed. i was just wondering what the performance differences are betwen a six speed and auto. is it that big?

 

Not as big of a difference as it is in 95-01 models.

 

still a decent difference.... but the auto is no slouch... u'll have plenty of power with the auto.........

but one thing i do regret is not waiting for a six speed.... manuals are so much more fun to drive.........good luck... in december of 02, i went to about 4 local dealerships to find a new 6speed, and they weren't able to find a single one in all of georgia.......
