Wheel Brand Question
Is Katana a good brand? Has anyone heard anything about them or had any experience with them? I haven't heard anything about them and was just looking at different wheels on the internet. Thanks.
They're pretty much just cheap imitations of expensive wheels. Every one of their wheels is a copy of a nice wheel like Racing Hart, Volk, etc. Having said that, the quality isn't too bad. They are heavy, but other than that, not a whole lot wrong with them.

Aren't Konig's imitation's of other wheels too?
The Katana's I was interested in were the Spazio's which look exactly like the Lowenhart LD1's. About $299 compared to $799 a wheel.
I'm not going to be racing or showing my car, just riding around town to work, etc. Are 18" wheels going to be that heavy for my purpose?
Thanks....
Almost every wheel these days is an imitation of another wheel. ADR, Katana, Tenzo, Konig, Giovanna, Arospeed, and the list goes on. If you like the style, get them. If you're just riding on them to work and don't race, then why does weight matter? I roll around daily on 19"s and it's not too bad.
