Anyone took their Chrome Fender Trims Off??

Anyone took their Chrome Fender Trims Off??
I have them on mine and I want to take them out. I was wondering if it's a bad idea, will it leave permanent marks? Or can it be removed by one of those goo removers they sell at strauss?

all depends on how they were put on. I've seen some that came off with adhesive remover, and I've seen others that took the paint off with them.

my philosophy is to never put them on and its not an issue.
