me 95, sis 98, parents 00. we all live in the same house. my parents almost bought another 4th gen. that woulda been kind of funny to have 3 4th gens.
back in the day my parents had an 84 5spd with the talking lady!!!! i say nissan brings the talking lady back.

 

Good times! I remember when i was younger my uncle would pick me up from school with that talking lady

Heck no I bought an 00 back in Nov/02 and a 97 this past April, so we have two maximas. They are sweet Black and dark red, respectively. Both SE 5 speeds.

 

I am jealous of you multi gen max owners. All I can say is I have stayed with the same family.

Cousin's has a 97 and a 93. ..... I Guess where just one big maxima VQ family.

 

Unfortunately I am the only maxima lover in my immediate family. Now, an uncle on my dads side has a 95 GXE and another has a 93SE. And I have the 88 max.

 

No way! I got two '95 GLE's in the driveway. One's Beige one's white!

 

no its cool i got 4 in the family 90,96,97,2001 and my boy got a 88.
when they're all parked out front it looks crazy. almost like a mini meet lol

 

the key is in the ignition that was cool i had one in my 86 but they took it out in 87 why?

 

it probably annoyed people. i wish there was a way to hook it up on a 4th gen

thats what i found out at nissan they take polls and that issue came up to annoying they said so out it came. and also there was functioning issues the voice would start to give problems after a while. and for ??? they installed a voice in 1984-1987 it was like a warning feature it told you when your lights were on when the door was ajar, the key is in the ignition, fuel level is low is was cool back then because nissan was one of the first to do it.

 

have a red 90 se and a red 99se-l

 

did any other car makers do this? the maxima is the only car of that has a "talking lady"

haha, its yea pretty cool - cuz my ucnles got a HUGE driveway so whenever we have some sort of get together tyep of event, everyone naturally brings their cars. Towards the middle of the party, you look outside and all you can see are maximas.

its a weird but cool site....

Mikeb from the legend forum? Get a newer legend instead . As for this thread, I have my 95 GLE, gf has a 95 GXE, best friend has a 98 GXE, another close friend has a 02 SE. Someday I'll upgrade to a 03 Max or I30. I think its more cool than weird to have 2 maximas.

If I count immediate family and cousins with maximas, I would be well over 10

 

It's a little wierd, now that I got my 95 GLE project car, everyone has been asking "what happend to your other car?" "Where's the red Max?" etc etc. I still have it, I still drive it, just not as often anymore. One small perk of owning 2 Maximas is that if something goes wrong on one, you can swap sensors and stuff from the other car, to diagnose..

 

Me and my dad both have 95 maximas. Mine is a GLE his is a SE

 

i have two 95's an autotragic and a 5speed, not wierd, funt hough=)

 

i have a 96 5-spd and a 97 auto to play with

 

The wife has the nicer one (for now). Leather and rims to come soon to the '98.
