Are 2k2 & 2K3 maximas more to insure due to hids?

Are 2k2 and 2k3 Maximas more to insure due to the issues with the HIDs being stolen? I know New Jersey is in the process of sueing Nissan over this issue.
Have the insurance companies caught on at all?

I love the Maxima and would love to get in one with the VQ35...but part of me feels like it would be worth the extra cash to get into a I35...so i could avoid headlight issues.......any thoughts?

Thanks in advance
Mike

The only one who can answer YOUR question is your insurance agent.

I doubt the more powerful engine can help with insurance rates either though.
