new car club need people
Hi all.
This club is welcome to anyone with 4 doors.
I am trying to start a car club. I have a friend that owns a '95 Ford Contour and he is trying to get his car fixed up. I own a 92 Nissan Maxima SE and he can't touch me, but anyways we are trying to start a car club called FDS, Four Door Sedans.
We are asking $10 for membership.
If we get enough people we can get group buys and affiliations with corporations and performance parts. We are based in Mesquite Texas, right outside Dallas but this membership is open to anyone anywhere. If located in a different state things might cost a couple dollars more as far as shipping costs.
If you or anyone you know is interested you can email me or my associate at:
jamison_brown@yahoo.com
RandyMiller84@msn.com
or you can call at:
972-289-0008 home
214-707-1052 my cell
214-693-6527 randy's cell
We will provide stickers for the club when we recieve your payment.
His car is modded mine is not.
This club is open to all cars, mainly four door cars though.
Membership fees are not required but they will help in getting business partners and discounts on parts.

Not to be an a hole or anything, but why would someone want to pay you $10 to get stickers and possibly a group deal on parts? There are group deals going all the time on the org that no one has to pay to get in on. Plus I don't think any one on here wants to hang out with a 95 Ford Contour. Just my $.02...

First of all the name is not set in stone, but if you want in you make about 15 people from all over the states. Ha Ha don't give me **** unless you want in. If you want in you can start giving ideas until then keep quiet. You don't like our ideas go somewhere else.
And if yuor serious about wanting in send me a PM so i can get the head counts.

How sad, trolling enthusiast forums for members to a car club. Not how it's supposed to work. Usually, how it works is, you build up some bada$$ cars, and people beg you to let them into the club. At least that's how it worked in the past, but I'm old school, maybe this is the new way of doing things. It would explain all the half assed clubs I see rolling around town. A bunch of stock cars sporting the same sticker thinking they're cool.
I'm sort of in a car club, and we have a bunch of sponsors, but that was from dozens of phone calls and going to every show possible. Plus, we've had about 10 cars get featured in magazines in the past 2 years, and about 6 more pending features.
FWIW, no one is going to sponsor a car club with a bunch of stock cars and no real organization. Organize yourself locally first and get your cars halfway decent, then go looking for members.

I you cant afford to send 10 bucks then you definately don't need to be fixing up your car. This is a serious club so if you want to join one of those ****ty clubs then by all means go for it. This is a serious club for those that are just starting out or those that have been doing this for a while. join or don't you don't make a difference to me.

Man, look what I started... I was debating on whether or not to say anything to this guy for a couple of days, and I'm glad I did. It made my Monday a little more enjoyable. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this was rediculous. Keep the funny comments coming!
