Okay guys...I ordered a C/F trunklid from Ionicdynamics back on July 3, 2004 and stated to him that i needed it for the show on the week of August 7, 2004. We have been in contact with each other thru email up until July 30, 2004, when he left me a message on my cell phone and said he needed my info and address because he couldn't find it in his file. He also stated that the C/F trunk lid is done and ready to be shipped just waiting for me to get back with him. I was not able to call him back that same day but was able to send him an email the following morning. Ever since, i haven't heard from him, i tried calling his new and old cell phone numbers and left message, also sent him a few emails asking for a tracking number. Now my credit card sent me the bill and it's due at the end of the month. I will be disputing the charges since i didn't recieve the C/F trunklid yet. Do any of you guys personally know Jose Garcia of Ionic Dynamics. If you can give me his home phone so i can talk to him.

Hes also supposed to be doing a carbon fiber trunk project for the 5th Gens. I sent him a brand new 5th Gen stock wing and lisence plate bracket to complete the project and I have'nt heard from him in almost 3 weeks. He dosnt answer e-mails, text messages or voice mails!!! I hope hes ok. We 5th Gen guys would like to find out what the status is on our project as well.
Any Cali guys who know Jose or know about his store... can you shed any light on this situation or go check on him for us. Hes got our deposits and equipment and has'nt been corresponding like he should. Whats the deal?!?!? Maybe Sadler can help out as well.... Can anybody caontact Sadler about this too?

I think Jose just got too much stuff on his plate. I'm waiting for my CF engine cover and CF front lip too.

 

Okay guys thanks for the info.. i just got a message from him this morning and he gave me a tracking number at www.target.com . He also stated i should have it by next week.

jose is a great guy. he would never f u ck over anyone. Very good company and good guy. hope u get it soon. post pic of it once u get it.

 

When i called him to make the order, he told me that he didn't post it on his website because he is making the C/F trunk lid on a per order basis. So if you want one , give him a call.

calm down guys....he's a busy man, he responded to one of my emails....he'll email u Deac....i mentioned that u were trying to get in touch w/ him.....ya us 5th gens been waiting since march if i remember right.....

Okay guys....i just recieved my C/F trunklid as promised by Jose. I looks good but the inside skeleton needs some cleaning and work before i even install it. I'm picky and if I was to compare the inside skeleton to other ones i've seen, this has to be in way better condition. I just want to clean up the rough edges a little more.

I haven't installed them cause I have to drill the holes for the trunk taillights and i'm waiting for my C/F hood to come in from Honolulu. We had a small groupdeal and all the hood was shipped there. I took pics of the trunklid off my car. Also i have pics of my JIC FLT-A2 coilovers installed.

You're lucky......mine has only the indentation where to drill it. But like i said i'll be installing it together with my C/F hood. And i'm feeling lazy to do anything right now.

 

Are you talkng about my car??? cause i don't have any other lights but my headlights, corner and bumper lights. And if you're talking about my LED altezza 2 taillights then too bad cause i like them alot.

 

Can you take closer pics of the trunks upper egde?
Whre it rolls down from the top towards the bottom in between the headlights.
Id like to see how the weave is on that extreme curve.
On my lip, on the egdes the weave is loose.

 

Very nice, good luck with it.. I was gonna go that route but theres alot of mods to be done before I get to that.

 

I don't get what you are trying to say. I have a trunklid so no headlight area for me or did you mean taillights. I'll try to get close up pic tomorrow. I haven't recieved my C/F hood
