Goodbye Maxima.org....car was stolen at gunpoint

Well, I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later considering I drive my car on a daily basis and take it out of town on business a lot.

Long story short...I was in Jersey on business (across the street from Giants Stadium) when I heard my alarm going off at 1am from my hotel room. Looked out the window to see 2 black guys inside the car. Ran outside to deter them when one of them pulls a gun on me, and 2 others are behind the car pushing it. The black guy in the drivers seat dropped the clutch and the car started, they all got in and drove off with my Maxima. 3+ years of work and almost $20k of mods to watch the car be stolen in front of me....

If anyone sees parts for sale on Ebay or wherever that may have come off my car, please let me know so I can let my detective know.

The car was found this afternoon in Newark, NJ completely stripped and basically destroyed. I am going to look at it tomorrow with the insurance adjuster and it's a 99% chance that its a total loss.

It's been a few years for me here on the org....now I have no choice but to move on to a new car.

This coming week I will be putting the down payment on a 2004 G35 Coupe 6-Speed in Diamond Graphite with Black Leather, Premium Package and Aero Kit.

I still have a brand new V2 Stillen SC kit for sale with a new Blitx BOV, new Autometer Ultra Lite Boost gauge and fully polished blowed and piping. Price is $3500 shipped.

Thanks guys....this sucks but there's nothing I can do about it now...I'm just glad to be alive

-Tony

damn dude, sorry to hear man. I'm in shock that one of the if not THE nicest maxima's on the org was stolen. ARGH, ****ing thieves can't own anything nice here in this world. Makes me think twice about modding. Hope you get 100% compensated for your loss.

Sorry to hear about that, but atleast you're okay. Good luck with your new car and hopefully your insurance will pay a decent amount for it. No wonder NJ insurance rates are high...

Give a heads up to the local people around there for your parts: http://forums.maxima.org/forumdisplay.php?f=15

Sorry about that but at least you didn't eat a bullet. That was one beautiful car.

What happened with the alarm? If I had put 20k in mods in my car it would have multiple security, i.e. starter killer, immobolizing device, tracking device, panic mode etc. Don't save at the wrong end guys.

Sorry to hear about your nice custom Maxima! But great to hear that your okay and didn't get killed or hurt. Hope you get all the $$ from the insurance for the car.

On the bright side you will enjoy the new G35! Hope you hang around even though you will drive an Infiniti.

Damn, thats just terrible. Atleast you are ok though, never try to be a hero when you got a gun pointed at you. You did the right thing to not fight back even though they were stealing your car right infront of you.

Well, atleast you will have some fun with the G35, that will be a nice replacement, but we wont forget the max.

That was a beautiful car too. Glad you're ok. At least you end now up with a sexy new g35 C, and it's good you had insurance, unlike some dumbasses who don't even have basic theft on their cars that are worth a lot.
