Boy was I nervous. The ECU came back Monday and I installed it praying it would work. I could tell as soon as I cranked it that it was going to work. It Idled fine and so far its working. It does feel like it pulls in every gear specially on the freeway. The only problem that I see, was that I thought the governor was going to be removed. Was the governor removed on everyone elses and I just got over looked. I have the GXE so it came with the governor, I know SE don't have the governor. Oh well at least it runs. Now I can go on with life. I hope it can be removed though cus I had this little SI catch me every time I hit the governor and try to say he could pull on me. Yea once I hit the governor but not while I was on the go.
Oh well. Time to MOd but first to the track to see if it helps the ET.

Uncle Max... what ECU did you send in? a SE ECU or your original GXE ECU?

if you didn't send in a SE ECU you will still have the governor

 

who the hell are you at the honda forums?.....


btw..uncle did you need to change the corner lights when you switched headlights?..

hey. i tested your ecu in my car when i went down to Gforce on Monday.
worked great.
as for the governor, if you didn't specify it. it stays.

the problem with the chip last time was cuz Windoze NT caused a blip in the "burn" of the chip and subsequently a few ecu mods went bad, but those that came back have already been fixed...
