HELP GUYS!!!! To clarify...he said he knew someone with a toyota THEREFORE toyota is like a steak and nissan is like a cheesburg and honda is lower than that....i am talking overall reputation not quality wise but class.

If we're not talking reputation but strictly prestige, I would say all three are equal. No one's gonna look at you driving around in a max or an accord or a avalon and think you're rich.

i'd say toyota and honda have a slightly higher quality rep.

nissan probably has a higher fun to drive rep.

overall i'd say they all balance out pretty equally...with nissan still holding the edge on fun to drive cars. :-)

BP is right. Honda and Toyota have higher quality, but Nissan's edge has typically been in the performance market. That's why I bought a maxima instead of a painful-to-drive accord or camry (the latter being ungodly slow).
