just installed my CAI from place racing. It looks awsome and performs pretty good. Not as good off the line as i thought but my top end is rediculous. I fly on the LIE hittin 100 easy without knowing it. It took my about 2 hours to install it. you can get the hole saw at sears hardware for $17 i used 3 1/4 size and i also needed 2 bungee cords for the install too. Good luck with yours!

installing it isn't that hard. the tubing you don't need. i took everything out. it really changes the cramped look of the engine. you only need one part of the factory intake to use with the c.a.i.

My main advice is this: wear safety goggles. I was putting my PR CAI in my 95 Max -- I think it was two summers ago. I had to cut through the sheet metal as you know... well I went to get under the car and pulled the faring back and a bunch of sheet metal shreds went in my eyes. I got up and was like shaking myself off, at first I thought I'd be ok -- but there was some, like, metal IN THERE (my left eye real bad) and it wouldnt come out and OH GOD the pain so I had to go to Maine Eye Center on emergency and have a 3mm piece of sheet metal removed from my cornea. The doctor told me how lucky I was, that I could have lost my sight. But I'm fine now.

So, be careful. I wear the goggles all the time now.
