rolling fenders

rolling fenders

my tires are gettin sliced from my fenders so i need to roll them (well it does have a little lip). anyone know of the best way to do this? would anyone happen to have a pic of what its suppose to look like after its done becaose i dont have a clue. any help would be great, oh yeah i heard of someone using a bat but how?

I think rolling the fenders at least in the rear would be a good idea on my car too. I dont rub that much, but I'm scared of cutting up those costly tires!!

It's funny everyone was mentioning this. I was sorting through some of my old magazines I've got lying around, and there's an article about how to roll fenders in the May '04 issue of "Import Racer" Of course, they're working on an S13 Sylvia, but the same principles can be applied to ANY car - saving you the $75 - 3 day rental/$495 outright purchase price of the fender roller.

Ask a body shop how much they charge for this. IIRC, it's around $100-150. DIY with a baseball bat or some such doesn't always result in a uniform result and the paint can flake off.
