Cattman Header Install Info for '02 but good info for other years too

I finally got the Cattman Headers installed this weekend. It took 2 days with lots of goofing off, but it wasn't as bad as I was imagining it to be.

Click on the link below. I've listed my problems/concerns, the tools & equipment used, and lastly comments and impressions.

I'm tired so pictures will have to go up later.

Hey bud. Great work. Quick question is are you throwing a cel since you moved the 2 o2 sensors to the back?

Fezzik: not a single code. That was my biggest worry. I've driven it all day through all gears in all sorts of situations: no trouble. I do have one of the o2 sensors in a bad spot though (you can hear it bumping and rubbing against the heat shield and floor). I'll have to replace it soon cause I'm sure it's lifespan is short the way I have it positioned currently.

E55AMG2: No not really near central FL (Orlando area???) though I do visit about twice a year. Hope you're doing alright from the storm btw.

My next biggest worry is just checking up on all the wiring and joints after a couple days. I want to make sure nothing is melting from the heat or scraping anywhere and I want to make sure none of the throaty exhaust sound is coming from a leak.

For the cel to show up you'd have to take two separate trips.

i think he means youd have to start the car and drive on two seperate instances? when i put my exhaust on i didn't have the rear o2, it took a few starts before the light came on.

Our ECUs work like that. They have to detect a fault at least once during two separate drives(drive a while, turn off car, go drive for a while again) to trip the CEL.
