I need to roll my fenders. I've read to use a bat and I will try it. However, what exactly am I looking to do, will I be bulging the fender out more or, as shown in this picture, I'm just flattening that lip inside the fender?

 

Pretty much its just flattening the lip on the inside of the fender to give more clearance when the spring fully compresses.
