Hey guys, I tried searching but no success....

Are all variable capacity mufflers basically the same?
I had a '00 Max muffler on my '93 Altima which really improved the bottom and top end and kept it quiet which was just as important but it has a bad case of the rattles (price you pay buying from a junk yard I guess) so I need another one. Are these others designed the same inside??

'02+ Altima 2.5??
'02+ Sentra? SER? SpecV???
'00+ Infinity I30/I35??

I've noticed all of these except maybe the base model Sentra have dual tipped mufflers. Does anyone know if all (or which ones of these) are the variable capacity mufflers? I can't find another used Max muffler around Memphis, I missed out on a $80 one, and need some other OEM alternatives.

Call your local Nissan and Infiniti dealer and see if the part #'s are the same for the muffler ALONE.
