Tein basic damper doesn't come with upper pillow mount, no adjustable camber plates, no adjustable strut body and I don't think you can adjust the rebound either. Installation with the Tein will be much more involve too.

If I ever re-do my suspension, it'll definitly be with a set of those. For the price difference of some Illuminas and springs, it's not a very hard decision.

I was wondering if i could make the pillow ball mounts and the camber plates works on my toser coilovers if they are the same design as the d2's. I would guess all the measurements would be the same?

I know..it's going to be hard not to nick the surface of anodized aluminium. I'll try to be careful just like everything else on my car.

Wrap them up in masking tape before you start installing them.

So these just like the JICs just cheaper? My AGX struts feel shot after 50k miles on sprint springs, its time for coilovers.

They included metal brackets to hold brake lines. I think I might have to bend them to the correct shape.

Yeah..all the feature and look of JIC without the price. I was able to get partial sponsorship from JIC but the D2 are still cheaper.

I'll post some pics up if all goes well this weekend. The only challenging part I can see is making sure I bend the bracket for the brake line correctly. Oh...and forking over $$ for an alignment afterwards. This will be my 3rd suspension setup and hopefully will be the last.

Wow these things are nice. I wonder how they compare to JIC's. I was looking at JIC FLT a2's but now I am serously considering these. Let us know how they are. Im happy to see a company selling a comperable product to the big boys at a good price. Its also nice to see that there are so many more options now with parts. Just a few years ago there was no parts and the ones that were avaliable were expensive. But let us know how the install goes and then how the ride quality is too.

Thanks,
Bruce

Maybe, maybe not. On my Progress for instance the threading on the top of the strut piston is different than stock/Koni. Couldn't use the Stillen piston locknut (on their camber plate) and had to use a nut & washers to lock it. Also my top spring isolator wasn't a good combo either. Toser could be entirely different.

So from the information I've gathered, if you wanted you could put these on your car and you could decide not to lower it at all? If so, that is crazy. I may just have to buy these, they look pretty sweet. Tell us how the install goes.

I heard Firestone or some wheel/tire store offers a lifetime alignment for $140, definitley worth it if your swapping out suspensions all the time, I wonder what the stipulations are? Anyone else heard of this?

I bought it, it was $120 a couple of years ago. I haven't been back since I've been lowered, I'll be sure to let everyone know if they refuse to align the car.

The question would be if they are willing to deal with camber plates??
