My girlfriends got one fitted to her hair dryer. But she liked it better without it.

Someone should post a dyno of the before and after and put it in the faq.

When you hook that up you'll also want to run an a/c vent to the intake to get cooler air to the motor.

There should be a formal training in order to have access to this site, with a quiz after the FAQ's are read. . .

this works well actually. You will need to re-route an AC line to the turbine and incase the turbine into a self-refrigerated "cold can" style intake surround which can accommodate up to 3 cu inches of dry ice.

is there anyone that can actually show some data besides posting junk? I know it sucks, but come on, has anyone tested one of these things?

I understand that it robs the engine of power while making that 1psi or so, but if it were run on a separate battery that was on a relay and not always connected, could this actually be beneficial to the car? Assuming this thing was very cheap to buy, not 200-300 bucks......

anyone have an objective opinion?

hell no. lol. i'm just thinking if it was powered by a spare battery, it may be beneficial when turned on....if it can actually create 1psi....certainly not the best bang for the buck tho.....

if everyone chips in, ill buy it...

I hooked up a couple of electrical industrial fans to my intake. Its pretty much the same thing. A little better throttle response but I think I may have to clean my throttle body.

mjk, like I said, install a switch to activate at WOT and connect the electric sc to a spare battery so it doesnt drain your electrical system.

that might work i guess

i thought about electric chargers myself, and how some people are running multiple batteries and set ups taht cost em 1200+

Think about it though, by the time you get useable boost from that you are already spending what a nos set up would cost, and wit juice you'll get more ponies. At least that's the conclusion i came to when i was thinknig about those.

I think Matt said it best, to ban the next person that posts a darned thread about these.... but maybe if someone can post some actual HARD data (i.e., before/after dynos, pics, etc...) to support the concensus of NOT buying one, we can educate everyone else to just "let sleeping dogs lie", so to speak...

Personally, I think it's gonna take ONE person to actually shell out the funds to get this sucka, hook it up, test it, and give THEIR opinion as to if it's beneficial or just another pie-in-the-sky scheme to separate you from your money...

I bought one. I gained about 85whp after i dynoed at a local garage. Pretty good stuff if it didn't make my stereo sound like crap. Too much interference.
