Does anyone know if AAA would charge me if I have my car towed from the dealer to my house after I just got it towed to the dealer 2 days ago? I am a gold member if that makes a difference.

Actually I think I get more than that, because I'm a gold card member. I was just wondering if they would take it away from a repair facility without repairs done. I guess I'll just have to wait until after work when I call.

You need to check the AAA site but I know they have a limit on how many times per year, the standard plan is 5 miles and 4 times per year. I believe they will tow you anywhere within 5 miles because they towed us to our house once.

I used to work for a towing company that did AAA calls. It's generally 5 miles for a standard member with an additional charge for every mile after that. For a gold member they get a hundred miles with a charge for every mile after. I'm surprised they towed you. They generally will only tow you for free if you are stranded or emergency situation. They very rarely will tow it from a garage.

Just Call AAA, tell them you need a tow, give them and ADDRESS, not dealer name. When the truck shows up (and independent contractor), he does not care, because he gets paid ONLY if he tows, so they WANT to tow you does not matter where
Request a flatbed to. I've had no problems in the past 5 years in Chicago area with this. If you don't get a flatbed, give driver a $20 and ask him to drive SLOWWWWWWWWWWW, so your car does not get messed up.
