Now I have 2 maximas

My dad just got a used 2004 maxima, goes nicely with the 1998. took it on a 240 mile round trip to the monterey jazz festival and back (for work actually) and it was a pleasant experiance. its an SE and handles well enough, good power for an auto, an all around fun car to drive. i just wish the dash lights and screen backlight wasnt....orange. just thought i would share

the dreadful orange

its fast for an auto

Sounds like he is enjoying it, and maybe you too just a bit.

he was actually looking at a 5th gen, 3.5 liter se auto...almost an exact copy of yours Tim, but he opted for a little more luxury, and less miles, he felt it was worth it.

May i make a comment real quick. The windows has to get tinted. I am always used to seeing them like that. It almost looks naked.

yea, both of the cars seriously need tint, especially my black max. my max definately needs some love, but im more short on time than anything sadly. when driving my dads car, i forget how big it is. its a ton of fun to drive, but can get squirely when pushed. ive already accidentally spun the tires in it a few times, way punchier than my maxima. an all around fun car

the paint job is so much nicer...i really noticed when i just washed mine. the blue ends up being real metallic, and my black just gets dirty fast

Nice car man. Wish my auto had the auto-stick style system in it. About the backlights, maybe you can convince your dad to change them out?

yea well i already have plenty of bright white LEDs, so i could offer to change them for him, but meh, not my car.

yea, the rims are on there to help try and fill some of the wheel gap i get running 200mm bodies. also, they just look good

the 97-99 have a nicer looking grill than the 95-96, and red clears are available for the 97-99... lower miles too
