Well here's the story. We were going down a two lane road; I was in the left lane, she was in the right lane about 10 feet or so ahead of me. She lost control around a left turn where she overreacted and caused herself to go into a spin. She spun around, hit the right curb, then slid into me and hit me while going backwards, and pushed me up onto the median. She then spun around a couiple more times and jumped the median, then hit a telephone pole. I am surprised she walked away from it/didn't flip the car. She got a ticket for not being able to control her speed (or something of that sort) I got nothing. It's her fault and my ins. says to call hers and they will pay for my damages w/no deductible. I have a lot of damage to my car (I am assuming $3000 or so) I have a couple pictures...

Damage Toll:

-Fender crushed
-two doors scratched bad
-cracked corner light
-something with a messed up suspension /pushed bushings
-scratched headlight cover
-two scratched up rims (they're scratched pretty bad they have to pay for them-right?)
-two popped tires
-scratched hood
-scratched/popped off bumper

Well, as always, glad you weren't hurt.

probably could have been a lot worse. I think your estimate is about right. You had aftermarket wheels on you car right? maybe time to get something new perhaps?

The most important thing is you are OK.

I think you have way more than 3K in damages... I would say more like 5-6K, with original rims, if you are running 1000$ Momos, that is another story.

the girl`

was SO hot...under different circumstances I woiuld have been all over her, unfortunatley I was too busy crying for my car and she could barely walk. I don't think I can get different rims, since only two were damaged. I am pretty sure they still make them also. My tires are discontinued, so I have to get the new model Potenza's. I am trying to get 4 because I feel unsafe on 2 different kinds of tires.

Glad you're okay man..

you're going to be looking at over $3000 in damages.. you'll be lucky if they don't total the car.
it probably bent the frame slightly if you're having to worry abotu suspension bushings..

I had less damage on mine a while back and it cost almost $4k to fix.

but good luck.. you had a nice lookin car. hope you get it fixed up again!

hoping it'sa not totaled

because me and my parents have fixed like everythign in this car, and it runs great/is in near perfect condition. I took blue book/prices of what it would cost to get an equilvent car and stock thats about $5995. Then I add in all the mods that can't be transferred over and thats over another thousand, so I doubt they will be wanting to total it because I estimate 3-4k repairs like most of you said. yes I can see some frame damage around the right front tire.

Just my experience... Some girl came over into the front left corner of my Dad's Maxima and left a busted corner light as well as a nice dent. Her tire also left a big black scrape on the rim and he told the body shop about it but they didn't fix it. The metal wasn't scratched, just rubber scrape. I had to do it myself with some paint thinner. Maybe they should have fixed it but I ended up having to. Hopefully yours will be covered.
