Just a random observation

Sometimes I'll see a bone stock 4th gen Maxima and wonder why I bother modding such a plain looking car. But then I see my own car after I park it, or I'll see a picture on the org and I'll remember why. It's amazing how good a lowered 4th gen with rims looks compared to the original.

You have one short memory. But I agree. I did an engine swap for another 3-gen guy. I installed some 17 rims/tires and a RSB also. But he had the stock springs/shocks. Wow night and day difference despite his rims/tires and rsb vs my ebiach/konis, 17s, front/rear swaybars etc...

...and then you remember that you can't spell the word "remember" correctly or use the correct contraction of "you're" as in "you are" and you decide to stfu and get back to studying...

But yes I agree Stephen, a stock 4th gen is just plain ugly, especially 95-96s. However with an agressive stance and wheels, it's probably one of the most thorough transformations you'll see in the automotive world imho.

i love looking at my car in HUGE store windows! looks so good. The max is such a huge difference after a few apperence mods. Expectually a stillen front, and R33 sides and rear. Best looking grocery getter ever. Can say best looking car ever but best looking 4 door.

I see the stark contrast every day when I park mine next to my dad's bone stock 95. That really accentuates the 4x4 appearance and complete ugliness of the amber lights.

...not the only one. I like to see how my wheels look when I'm driving too. "do not look at reflection... must focus on road..."

Eventhough I own a 2000, I think that a clean 4th gen is still on of the best looking sedans out there.

Ill park my car next to a stock 4th gen, look at both cars. I think you know which one looks better.

It really makes me appreciate my car more and more everyday when i do that.

wow, now i don't feel as guilty cruising a parking lot with store windows. I love my Max, and for all the other reasons above, I want a 4th Gen too. maybe someday, say 5 years from no when this is paid off. If there are any out there left. I have very few appearence mods but like it stock. Maybe after all is paid, down the road, some rims and grille just for a change.

I feel the same way you do sometimes. . . its amazing how much better the Maxima looks with a drop and some tasteful wheels. The stock 97-99 SEs dont look too bad stock, but the 95/96 with the honeycombs or hubcaps look pretty lame IMO. The Stillen kit also helps with appearance too.

In 5 years a 4th Gen will probably be worth $100

and the huge trucks that transport gas. especially at the end of the truck when you are driving behind it. i got a pic of my car like that somewhere. looks sick. i love to do that but have to be careful not to get into a accident or it would stink then.
