Question about mufflers~

My stock one is punctured right now. =( I was wondering if the 5th Gen mufflers are a direct fit on my '99 and if it's more beneficial than 4th Gen stock ones? thanks.

No its not a direct fit. Go to a muffler shop, they'll put on some hangars for you and weld it on.

I did it a few years back and noticed no difference. If you want power, your better off with something else.

It's a muffler, why would you notice any power?

Yeah i'm still deciding if I should go for a full cat-back system or just buy a stock muffler =)

I have a 5th gen and there is a little more ooomph when the variable muffler flap thing opens but it's probably in my head. I like the more aggressive but restrained and NOT ricey sounds that come out.

Welder +Hangars + around 30-40 bucks =golden
