I played tag with a late model Corvette today. It was red but had no other badging on it. All 'racing' was done at highway speeds with no real even race. A couple of times the road opened up...he would really get on it (I saw the smoke from his exhaust)...also could see that he had a 5spd. I stomped it but but he walked me both times. Had me wishing for a 5spd or at least a VB mod My car seemed very stable, even at low triple digit speeds.

I thought I kept up pretty well though for a family sedan. I guess a car that is worth 3x mine should be faster. We got even a couple of times when traffic bunched up and I would look over to wave but he never looked back. I guess he was 'too sexy for his car'. Oh well.
