Wow, very eventful/UNeventful day *56k...donteventhinkaboutit*

Well well, today was SUPPOSED to be a day of easy fixing of a couple things on a few different Max's. 3 of us met up to 1st bleed Max4Speed's clutch to get it moving again....everything was going fine until Tori lost a 12mm gear wrench....haha

I was planning on doing my axle and brakes.....didnt happen. The breaker bar I used to break loose the 36mm spindle nut BROKE my fukin ratchet....haha...so, had to put that on the wating list. We decide we're gona head up to Amit's place (xplayboyx) and Tori and I go to a gas station first. We take a back road to get on the highway........and there's a redlight - and we're side by side. We didnt race or anything stupid.....but there was a huge BUMP in the middle of the intersection (Busbee and Shiloh...going south on Busbee) --- Tori looses traction over that bump, and when the wheels come back to earth...I hear a loud POP.......and I knew somethin had happened. We stopped at another road (Frey) and luckily I had my jack, jack stands, and toolbox w/ me.....so we jacked that b*tch up to see whats up.

Tori first thought that the drivers side axle had just popped out of the tranny.....then we took a HARDER look....(btw...it's about 6:00pm when this happened)

We take a harder look and find out the damn axle SNAPPED right after the "c" clip that's right before the tranny....

Soooo....after know this much...we know we gotta take the PASSENGER axle out to shove the remaining driver side axle piece OUT of the tranny.

4 lugs come off...the 5th....cross threaded....hah - So THAT wasnt happening. Jay25's lil bro came out to see what the hell happened....and we noticed his nice new paint job.

So at this point...we're like f*ck it, lets call a tow truck (Free from SprintPCS Roadside Assitance....or....NOT)

We wait for 3 hrs for a tow truck and no show...we call Sprint, and they say there's NOTHING available..hah, GREAT! So.....we ghetto tow it:

And.......we have another axle!!!!!!!!!1

max10to!---well I guees that would add me to the list of broken cv inner...and yes we are all on sprints....Yes, "maxima" roadside assistance is more reliable than sprint's roadside rescue...no, its good to know that I can call my max peeps to help anytime.
WELL.............after drilling the lug nut off of the car(been trying to get the lug off for 2 days) finally got the pass. side axle off...and the damn piece would not budge... so I got to drop the tranny again(I just put it in) and get the piece out. The maxima woes continue...........Thanks guys who all helped. -Tori

******HEY, BEFORE I DROP THE TRANNY...DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO GET THAT PIECE OF THE AXLE OUT?*******

im assuming the c clip is no longer in there, you could try using a compressor and filling up the tranny with air and use a magnet on the other side? not sure if thats bad for tranny or not, dont see why it would be... can you thread anything into that expansion hole in the middle? one of those crazy vacuums at a car wash attatched to a funnel with duct tape (to have a small end to fit in there) maybe suck it out? gooood luck.
