5th generation FAQ-U http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....30#post2354330

P0102 - Mass Air Flow Sensor Circuit Low Input
P1102 - Mass Air Flow Sensor Circuit Range / Performance Problem

Step 1: remove MAF
Step 2: get new MAF
Step 3: put in new MAF
Step 4: enjoy spending nearly $100 on new MAF or nearly $600 on MAF+tube

To reset the ECU, read 5th generation FAQ-U

It'll drive like ish, but since your MAF is already going, you could try to clean it out with a K&N recharge kit ($40 IIRC) like Emax did. Im not sure how long it lasted him. Basically, there is gunk build-up on the sensor so its not metering it properly. If you know some electrical and mechanical basics, replacing the sensor alone will cost you about $100 vs. $500 for a whole new assemble.

i will try to clean it with K&N recharger kit..... do i just spray the kit on the sensor? and wash it away with water and let dry?

so it won't mess the car up more by driving with bad MAF sensor? i just don't want it to cost more later while i try to find a cheaper place.

You're going to have to look through the pages for that. I can't remember the correct steps exactly...

IIRC, I think you remove the MAF, let it soak in the solution and let it air dry. But I'm not 100% sure.

If you don't change it, you'll get to a point where the MAF won't read anything at all and your car will hiccup and stumble and stop all day long.

I found this locally at A1 Imports.
http://www.a1-imports.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi
Give them a call and see if its still available.
If it is, and you want it, I can pick it up for you, I work right down the road from them and meet you up north and deliver it to you since I live up north as well.
