#1
I got my kit on yesterday and on the way to work. I hit the bottle took it to about 120 on the hwy and looked @ the air fuel gauge it said rich. So I backed off of it what I need to know is how could the effect my engine? Drop some knowledge on a brother...

ERIC>>>> O Man, please tell me that
you are not running a moddified ecu with the NOS. That is BAD news. Unless of course the chip retards your timing when you hit the NOS. Please be careful with the NOS man, my friend just blew up his VR6 with a 60"shot". He had a Garret chip. The stock ecu compensates for the timeing. Not sure of any moddified chip that does this, exept one that is made for it. Maybe I just dont know what I am talking about, but just please be carfull.
And if you are a VW fan go here to my friends web page. He might just have the fastest "automatic" Jetta VR6 in the country.

you can lightly lean it out by putting a smaller fuel jet in, if you are running a wet kit
if its a dry. just deal with it
thats why i don't like dry kits. no tuning with it.
if the guy chipped a vr6 and put a bottle ontop of that he gets the dunce hat for the day
chips increase timing/fuel/ and some other fun tid bits. if you are going to run nos do one of two things
get a ecu/chip made for nos. or stay under a 75 shot and go with colder plugs.
thats why he blew the vr6 up because of that chip
im running a 50 shot on my celica and having no problems what so ever. no chip. nothing to retard the timing. just added a bigger fuel jet to compensate for it. its all a math game
i ran a 50 shot on my VE 5spd and had no problems what so ever. hell i had advanced the timing in it to gain more fun, never blew that thing up, as many times as i tried too. i never could
thats what import companys are good at. building very very strong motors from the get go. like the ve/vq 2jza80. 3s gte. 2zzge
b18c1/c5. so on and so forth. if you're only running a 60 shot, you're gonna be fine. just hold on for the ride

BryanH's cars...
I know Bryan personally so I'll try to answer best as I remember.
His Celica GT-S has run a 14.8@95mph+ on the old motor
His 92 Maxima ran consistent mid 14s off the NOS and 13.8s on a 50hp shot of NOS. None of his cars have never had any substainal power mods. It's mostly just good driving on his part.
