4th gen oem carpet replacement
You can get one from a junkyard. May or may not be in good condition. I would see it in person. Check your local junkyards and www.car-part.com. You could probably just go and find some nice carpet that would match your interior at a carpet or flooring place and cut it to fit in the car.
I take that back, there are now a couple. And its only $129......

I got a replacment carpet from stockinteriors.com
It was perfect, molding and everything, I highly reccommend them. It is not an easy project tho....alot of stuff has to be torn out, and re-padding is prob. gonna be necessary.

Pics from the install can be found there, I was in the process of alot of other things, so the trunk is tore out, rear deck, center console, but you can get a good idea of how the carpet laid, and the process.

thanks for the reply ive had my carpet out many times and mine has to go.
I have a couplke ?'s does it have those side tabs that hold stock carpet to frame ? and also the padding that is put in squares in the stock carpet to raise the carpet in the floorpan areas for better fitment is that included and if not what did you use.
The stock carpet is pretty light i dont want to add really anymore weight than what it was .
thanks

They make them wider/longer then they need to be, so yes, there is plenty of carpet to go around, I cut alot off to get it right, and stapled the plastic fastners back on to help hold it (used a piece of cardboard and a staple gun, then bent them down with needle nose or whatever works best).
They have 2 long/wide strips they use when it is formed to help replicate the stock fitment. I tore it off (it's just spot tacked on) and cut to form, along with stock padding, mixed and matched it. Plus I used R-Blox floor liner, it's a thin foam/vinyl liner used for sound deadening and is super light. (thats the black stuff in the pictures)
The carpet is 'heavier', it's better made, and thicker...it might be alittle heavier. If you don't care about feel of the carpet, go with a floor liner/sound deadener, it will be light and still help with road noise.
hope this helps, it will be a long process...you must let the new carpet lay out and form to original, it comes wrapped up in a ball, but then it's cutting it thats the hard part, then getting the padding right. I think I need to go back into mine and add some padding to help it form. But it is well worht in in the end, I don't regret it at all.
