Hot Compacts & Imports Tech Article on Jime's Maximizer

HCI is just out for Nov 2004 with the article on my Maximizer Install.

This gives the greatest nitrous control possible and its going to get better as soon as I get my newest FJO Wideband this week that integrates with the Maximizer. (FJO makes the Maximizer for NX)

They also have an "Advanced Analysis Software Package" available that can log data in armed and disarmed state for N/A tuning.

You can download as test the latest Maximizer and Wideband software here.
http://www.fjoracing.com/

Only problem is that its more expensive than a base NX kit ($775), however if safety and maximum power is your aim this is the way to go.

You an download and test out the software from FJO.

PS If you do buy the mag there is also a tech article on the LM-1 Wideband by my Son (DSMJim) that he installed on his DSM. I think there are at least a couple of guys on here that use the LM-1.

Awesome job Jime! Congrats too!! I know you must get this alot but hopefully by January I wanna have a nitrous system (dual-stage maybe?!?) and I would really appreciate any insight you could give me so before PM'ing you I wanted to ask for your permission. I'll try not to bother THAT much but technical questions that I can't get answered elsewhere I would really appreciate the input you and your son could give me for my 2k2 6spd.

Once again, congrats on being in the mag and keep up the great work!

After doing the 2 stage I am not a big believer anymore. It may be more beneficial with a 6spd but for the extra $$ the Maximizer is light years ahead and much simpler to install and operate.

Be glad to help in any way I can.

I ran out and bought the mag last night.

So, will this work with a dry setup?

Also, I wish it could proportionately "condition" the MAF voltage to cause the ECU to increase duty cycle of the injectors instead.

I don't think it will work with a dry setup. Progressive nitrous controllers operate by pulsing the solenoids and the light duty noids the dry companies use won't take the punishment. NX guarantee their solenoids for life even when pulsing.

Don't think you will see NX play with the duty cycle either, that has been pretty much a dry setup method. NX has terrific success with their current setup and don't think they are about to change although anything is possible.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, first let's get one or two running consistent 11s then we can talk about 10/9s no?
