Clutch Help.....

I had just finished my 5spd conversion. Went out for a test drive and found out i had a problem on my hands. To fully disengage my clutch i need to press my clutch pedal all the way down to the ground and then some, sometimes i need to slam on the pedal. I had a clutch line made for me by techna-fit, so my clutch line setup is basically a straight steel braided line going straight from my master cylinder to my slave cylinder. The only bleeder i have is on my slave cylinder. I had adjusted my mastercylinder with the fork within the car, and have bled the line multiple times through the slave cylinder, so i'm guessing that there is more air in the upper part of my clutch line near the master cylinder.

Any suggestions or recogmendations??? Any tools I can get to fully bleed my line????

Chris

Well I tried bleeding the clutch, the last two days and have not fixed my problem.
One thing I wanted to bring up to make sure that I got it right is the adjustment of the rod for the master cylinder. The fork that is threaded on to the rod of the master cylinder was threaded almost to the end of the rod nearest the driver. Now if I thread it the other direction making the fork part closer to the master cylinder would that help or the way I have it is correct. I just want to make sure I have that adjustment correct.

Chris

P.S. I guess my last option would be to get stock lines.......I really want a single line if i can.... Thanks for the help in advance....

dont get the cooler line that will only add to your problems ..

thread the rod so the clutch pedal is in line with the brake pedal.. i have a similar set up .. stock lines minus the cooler. works fine.
