Hi,

I have a 99 maxima. It is a great car but sometimes the engine is rough when it is idle. When engine running, it is ok. This seems related to the quality of gas. For one tank of gas, it always has this problem. For another tank of gas, it seems ok.

My guess is that the knock sensor might broken. However, the check engine light is not on. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong ?
