so you are no losing anything in performance. That and the 92 pulls all the way to redline unlike the 95.
However if you like the looks of the 95 better then go for it over the 92.

If you're buying this on your own on what I assume is a small budget & want less headaches, come join us 3rd Gen VG owners (1989-1994 GXE, 1989-1991 SE models)
- Great engine & no major mechanical issues
- Decent "pep" when you push down on the pedal but not enough to get you killed or make you feel slow (love that V6 )
- They go for pretty cheap now (depending on your area could be anywhere from $500 - $2000 TOPS)

Agree 100%!!! perfect first car, easy to learn on, decently powered and torquey V6 for its model year, virtually INDESTRUCTABLE motor, you'll die before it does

I'm still driving (well my son mostly drives it now) my 1991 SE 5-sp that I bought new. The engines on these cars are quite bullit proof.
Remember ... you've got to learn to drive...out there in traffic... and develop what is known as situational awareness.....that takes several years.

Hmm..rich kid.. Boy you better be thankful your mommy and daddy will do that for you. Insurance will be insanely high for you, especially after your first wreck in your new '04 or whatever car you decide on. And maybe you shouldn't brag about how you have the money for "any car you want." Just some advice.

since you have the money for whatever Maxima you want - refer to my post: 2003 6spd w/ HLSD. . . . the funny thing is, from the start, he asked 'whats the best year of the Maxima SE should I get', not best year 4th gen, or 3rd gen , I figured he could get any Maxima of any price.

even if you have the money to buy whatever you want.. buy wisely and save some of that money..

Whichever one you get.. enjoy it and be safe

Im 17 and thinkin about getting a 2000 Maxima SE. The car is about $12,000 and has 50,000miles, free mantenince for a year, and free tires for life! Do u think this is a good deal, and are insurance and mantenince bad on Maximas?

How many jobs have you had if you're 16 now and working at Discount Tire? I didnt know they'll hire a 16 yr. old
Get what YOU want, not what WE want.......go to a dealer and DRIVE them, see what options some have and what others dont. We're not gona do the research for you...it being YOUR car. Damn people are so lazy....
