removal
You just have to oull them off. I would suggest using a hairdryer or a heatgun to warm them up a bit so that they are easier to remove. Or you can park it in the sun for a day and that will do it too.
Then I went to the auto parts and bought this wheel that you put on the end of your drill and it acts like a big eraser on a pencil. Use it to remove the tape residue from the trim and from the door. Then paint the strip and let it dry over night. Take some rubbing alochol and clean the back of the strip and the side of the car. Buy some new double sided tape and slap em' on.
Be careful when you buy the paint that you get the right paint code or they, obviously, will look stupid if they don't match!
