Your Favorite Useless Mod

So what have you done to your car that has pretty much no use and yet you love having it. This includes things which have to performance, handling, lighting (meaning headlights), or safety features. The things I want to exclude on this list are body kits, clear corners, and red/clear tailights just because we know pretty much everyone has them. With the exception of course of 95-96s with clear tails.

Alright so with that in mind your favorite useless mod is;

And of course my favorite useless mods are;

- Black painted bracks calipers, they look nice and sleek and not ricey at all.
- Shaved rear emblems.
- LCD Screen in dash.

Thats all I can think of right now, so what are yours?

- Steve

That sounds pretty nice, I was considering picking up the same two items. Got any pictures of the setup?

cf hood will be part of that if i ever get it.

Oh, almost forgot! Solar powered battery charger that plugs in to your cigarette lighter. It is now stowed away under my seat for that unpredictable moment when I might need to trickle charge my battery.

Actually I hate the fact that I've wasted money on useless things like my aluminum dash kit, etc. Though every time I'm talking to someone about my car at the track they inevitably say "hey did that come stock?" I don't know why but it really catches people's eye for some reason and they all love it :shrug: Personally I wish I didn't install it, it looks to flashy for my taste now, and getting compliments about my dashboard is certainly not my goal.

I guess my favorite "useless" mod would be my 97 front bumper.

I know what you mean. I got the carbon fiber dash kit on mine. I got it a long time ago, probably one of my first mods when I got the car. Anyway, I could care less about it now. However, each time someone sees my car, it's one of the first thing they notice. I told them I got headers, cams, ecu, etc., but the thing that made them go "ooooooooh..." was the dash kit. WTH?
