I am Canadian Indian but my roots are from GOA, India. What a great place! Best beaches I've been to.
I'm up from some NYC action with Indian food! Please make it in Jan. or later because I am in San Fran right now until new years.
ps. I think this is an OT thread...

Porsche Sells Cars in India
Date Posted 11-04-2004
After months of careful study, Porsche has finally begun importing cars to India. The first of that company's vehicles to hit the market on the subcontinent will include the Cayenne SUV, the Boxster S and the Carrera. These vehicles will be priced, according to Reuters, between 4.7 and 8.6 million rupees, which is roughly $100,000-$190,000 American. Sales will be controlled through Porsche Middle East, which is based in Dubai. The company expects to start small, with dealerships based in New Delhi and Bombay, later adding operations in Hyderabad, Bangalore and possibly Madras in due time. The vehicles sold in India will have been constructed in Germany. Anticipated sales in the next few months are about 100 vehicles.
