I feel empty now that she is sold

After debating back and forth I finally sold her last night. I cried as I signed the title. I had her since she was a baby and had 4 miles on the odometer. My heart went in with each mod (custom leather took two weekends to install). My wife cried with me as the car left our garage for the last time. On a good note the new owner is a good friend of mine so I will still get to see her once in a while.

Tough one to let go, but it is only a car.

That GS will help make you forget about your Maxima, plus you'll have a smooth V8 with plenty of torque!! Will you mod the Lex?

I plan on little mods here and there. Intake, exhaust, maybe some wheels.

Hey Neal good to hear from you. I would like to go to byron. Don't put down the truck. Those diesels run 15-16's stock. A chip upgrade will add 110 hp & 200 tq. For a total of 700 tq. They are pretty fast for their size. Anyways track sounds good. If I go I'll bring my slow truck.

She is very supportive. Some times I wonder how she puts up with me. She did say that when we get ahead financialy I can start looking for another toy car (maybe a Supra).

I ran a 14.3. Funny I included the track slip with the car and told my friend that it was his bragging rights. I miss the car. I call him up everyday and ask him how she's doing. He drove the car all weekend and he loves the speed. Can you send me a link to the thread that you guys are talking about.

You should. . You had a nice looking max. Plus that chick at the gas station is eyeing your car :P You miss the attention..

Dude if you miss it so much get a G35 or just get another max and just make it the show machine.

I sold it because I became a real estate agent in May and when I go out with clients it's all about appearance. The maxima in all respect was great for me, but a 50 year old client didn't take me seriously. In this industry you take people in your back seat and drive with them for hours. My lowered maxima with 18s wasn't exactly comfy on bumby roads. I sold the max for 10k. The GS430 is my perfect solution. The car is flashy, comfy, and 14.3 in the 1/4 mile. Something my max did with mods.

Man it's been a long time since I talked to you Simon. The GS430 is a great car and I am sure you will love it. My mom bought a RX330 last year and she loves it. Lexus service is the best in the industry. Did you buy it private or at a dealer?

Who asked you?......................j/k
It's everyone's choice, the car only has three choices of interior, and I like this one the most. On the outside, the only other color I would consider is black. But I love this color inside and out.

Congrats on the car. It looks awsome. It seems that whenever us Maxima people want that upgrade, we mostly shop for a GS430. It brings the best of both worlds(luxury and performance) into one attractive design. My boy has a GS400 and you will love that 325lb-tq. Its a rocket. I love this car. If you dont mind me asking, is your bundled with the Mark Levinson package? If it is, it is claimed as the best OEM system that anyone can buy. Believe me I had much experience with it. Its rediculously clear. Join clublexus.com. They have some really nice people over there. Theyll help you out with a lot of your problems. Pretty cool site.
