N = Canada
V = California
U = US, not California

my car is FED SPEC. so i guess i need to order fed spec y-pipe

Look at the front of the engine and see how many plugs are in front of the engine above the Front exhaust header. 4=Cali, 2=Fed

I am pretty sure most of the 99s are cali, but it's possible....
