Just wondering who sells Optima batteries? cant seem to find anywhere.

 

I'm finding em everywhere. Batteries Plus for retail. RacerWholesale, JEGS, carparts.com for mail order.

Still not sure about the red vs yellow but gonna search some more.

Unfortunately carparts.com has the red for $100 after discounts...

check to see if they have a store near you. They usually carry all models of optima. I got an orange top. It's like the red top but with reversed posts for the maxima.

want a killer starter AND stereo battery ? RED TOP
Want to play stereo with the car off? YELLOW TOP

 

what about the blue? i wanted a blue and didnt realize that they were marine. is it possible to use a blue because I have a blue CAI and blue vac. hoses.

 

yes it's possible.
1) buy red top
2) buy blue spray paint
3) paint the battery
4) enjoy...

 

Ok, sounds like the orange top is what we need for the stock cables to reach. I know I'll need to prop up the battery or get shorter j-hooks.

Problem is nobody sell's the Orange top unit. Neither Batts+ or Interstate locally said they would order. I talked to Optima and they sent me right to their disty instead.
