It's not in the engine, it was his skill and attention to detail that got him those great times, his dyno actually wasn't that impressive compared to his times.

I know that.. that's why I said 'for a while' I've been following since before he knocked off a 13 slip with slicks.

Man that really sucks. The fastest NA Max is now done. What is insurance going to do about all the mods on your car, will they somehow compensate for that? Best of luck with the next car.

No they compensated for none of it. I took a loss on all my suspension. I got all the power mods off of it.

There's probably 9-10k worth of damage and they determined the car is only worth about 4k...

That is why if one has a car that they spent so much money on then one should get the car apraised, althought your insurance would be higher. Sorry to hear about your car.

No because michigan is a no fault state. I have to get a copy of the police report (at my own expense of course) and then my insurance company will attempt to make nice with his insurance company to get my deductible back. It's called a Mini-Tort but that's as far as it goes. I'll just get the deductible money, nothing else.

Anybody know if that can happen in Canada? I think it's the opposite (at fault= insurance pays the other). Anybody know?

Looking at your car that way is kinda scary... mine is so similar...

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

from the looks of it just one is messed up. They look like SSR Comps to me, one of my favorite wheels. I need large offset wheels to clear my brake setup, the cheap wheels I see on Maximas all the time don't fit- cheap comment no directed at anyone in particular.

Yes the are competitions, however they are also going to fit on the car I'm getting so they aren't going to be for sale. I just have to buy one to have a full set again which is about the best I could hope for at this point.

Secret. But you can at least narrow it down to the fact that it has the same bolt pattern 5x114.3.
