Sup people,

I'm a newbie to this site, but not to vehicles. I just recently purchased a 2004 Maxima SE (believe me, it was not by choice.....I was just recently involved in a car accident where a stolen car hit my ride (a Mitsubishi Galant...I was part of a car club called Galantcenter.com..so it was hooked up) and my car was totaled (15G's worth of damage) so out of despair, I need a new ride, but was going back and fourth on what to get.... so I went and got a Maxima for a good deal....however, I thought the one I got came with HID's but I guess not....and I'm not sure of the bulb type to get for it (I thought it was 9005..but I'm hearing wrong apparently) I was looking at a pair of the following: http://www.xenondepot.com/product.php?product_id=25 but the guy said that this was for high beams, so I know this sounds like a dumb question, but what is the correct type of HID's I need for this ride....

you can check the 6th gen forum for info on the 2004 maxima, but the max is a very good choice, you'll be amazed

 

Sorry to hear about your ride. i used to own a Galant, they are good cars but lousiest resale value. You'll be pleasantly suprise with the Maxima over the Galant that will make you forget....."what Galant"

 

Yeah...the value of the car was only 5200....luckily my insurance paid the car off....but yes, I love the maxima...this is my first V6 ride with power...

You'll enjoy the Max... Galants are wayyyyyyyy underpowered....

oh and by the way I dont know what type of bulbs 04's have but any car that ha 9005 bulbs uses 2 sets of bulbs...

9006 bulbs are the low beam
and 9005 are the high beam.
