I need directions on how to paint my calipers on my 2001 max.

 

jack car up an take all four tires off I did mine one at a time and clean each with a wire brush and some good cleaner
I painted my calipers and wheel hubs blue just tape off the areas you don't want painted and the cars fenders and spray soft even coats on and do not spray heavy to prevent runs.....just let the "mist" touch and stick to the metal hold can 6-8" away from the caliper...let each coat dry do sometihing else to kill time unless it is a windy day or kinda hot and the paint will dry fast take your time and will be wll worth it to cover up the rust....

 

metallic97gxe has it right. i am redoing mine in the next month, mine are chipping... and look bad, also i am getting a darker color red.

 

I used caliper paint. It is made in Germany and marketed under the brand names Folia Tec and G2. Do a search on the Internet and you should find numerous sources...

 

Does anybody have their calipers painted silver? I have beige car so i dont think blue or red would look good..if anybody has their calipers painted silver please let me know your opinion and pictures would be greatly appreciated

that is Ryan (Killermove) car. He did it in black/silver and it looks pretty nice
