i have installed the plugs and i've noticed a nice difference to say the least. also i have a question for the race engine experts: when indexing the spark plugs, which way should we position the spark plugs in the combustion chamber for the best gains? tweek, tweek ...

Hey SLeeper

what clutch are you using? Lyt97SC and I are in search of a good clutch that can grip. thanks

I dont think your gonna find anything noticeable from indexing the plugs. Normally this is one when every possible mod is done on the car. A side gap plug works really well cause it doesnt block the flamefront. I forget why they stopped using them tho. I think cause it fouled up too fast...

clutch

i just bought and installed a jwt one metal side clutch. the pressure plate is rated at about 1700lbs of clamping force,(almost). the clutch plate or disk has an organic side that meets the flywheel and the metal side(8 metal tabs),meets the pressure plate.it is agressive but i don't think it is to radical.just have to get use to the take off, and it grips,i have opened it up in first and it grips, and all the other gears. i have 700 miles since installing. this cost 425.00 and they have an organic (both sides) for 325.00. and a 2 side metal, but that will probably damage the flywheel.(all out racing).they use the same pressure plate. i am happy with this clutch.also i get torque pull with it, sometimes it wants to REALLY pull to the right.i could go on so u know i am happy so far. i havn't been to the track yet though. i don't want to be convincing cause i don't want anyone mad at me if they have any problems. but so far so good. jwt gives a 90 day warranty if it slips,i asked them if it slips, i will send it back. i have fried the stocker and the centerforce duel friction, they both sliped under acceleration.i think my car has about 315hp to the flywheel.(guestimation)originally i was talking with jwt about the problems i was having with my clutch, when racing etc., they said they could make 1 side metal for launching...i liked the idea that they could make 1. instead of pulling one from the shelf. and they sent me a license plate frame with it,(probably worth 50 hp.)haha i was reading about jwt 300z it has a jwt clutch and that car has 625 hp.call them up and talk to them.email me if u have any other questions about it, i am just sitting at home with a injured elbow from work.
