Fastest NA Max?
I know Don ran a 14.2 i believe on slicks. That was when he was off the bottle.
The closest around here (by me in NJ) is SprntMax, NA with a 14.7 with only CAI and Y-pipe. Im sure if he had slicks he can be low 14's.
Hey, i want to see the video! Someone upload it!

My best on street tires(205-65/15) was 14.5 and that was against Jim W. Here is the link to the timeslip.

This was pretty good for a Cali-emission car. I also have a video on race that the Z guys took. They sent it to me because I out sandbagged there best sandbagger. This car was my daily driver so I wasn't slipping the clutch, power shifting etc... Just trying to keep it real and have fun at the same time.

Chris91SE: Thanks for the mention. I still watch the video you took of my last race in October. I ran a 14.92 on a 14.90 dial-in...to sweet.

It's sweet
The A.E. is 6 months old and has 10,000 miles on the odometer. I'm adding little things to the car for now because I'm alittle short on money at the moment. The $35 intake was a great find and now I just need to hook up the shift light. Seems Nissan changed the back of the ECU and it will take me a few days to track down the proper wire for the light.
I probably should have bought this black car after the winter but you live and learn. Hope to see everyone at the next E-town event in May. I'm thinking about racing, won't be much to watch but I think it would be fun to run with the new car. I did take this car down the 1/4 mile in March, it was 37 degrees out and there was no traction for front drive car. Track was way to cold but pulled out a 15.25 so it's a start.

Kenneth, you must be reffering to Charlie. Yes, his car is amazingly fast combod with a great driver. I too saw him hit a 14.6 at Rivercity Raceway in December at a little Max meet. The weird thing is the fact that as you said he only has a generic cone filter and Stillen muffler. Even weirder is that he said he runs a 1 step colder plug than stock. Now that part, I just can't figure out.
Yup, Charlie
I also realized he has the intake resonator removed. That might help
A guy named Craig in Austin supposed to have runs of 14.7 (with only intake?)
Time for your mod list to get smaller there Drew, temporarly

muhahaha.
im going to slap you russ
i went 13.8@101 on bottle
went 14.3@98 mph on motor ON STREET TIRES and stock suspension
my mods at that time included
custom maf plate, k&n fliter
hollowed cat
2.5 from cat back to a opak muffler
bored throttle body, port matched intake
advanced timing
gutted trunk
and thats all the hp adders i had
netted a 1.9 60ft on street tires
not bad for a 3rd gen that had over 100k miles on it and a ticking VTC
this time was before the n/a 3z cams
and injectors

I've seen Craig run several times. Also an excellent driver. This was back in like 98-99. He did run drag radials, but had relatively few mods. Cool guy - haven't seen him around in a long time. Green 4th gen (95-96).
I'm just going to have to spray on Charlie next time we race. I'm down 8/10 on him with way more mods! Damn automatics...
