there is no "projector" from 5th gens to swap in.... BUT there was a guy on here that did 2k2 heads on his 4th gen, looks pretty good IMO, i guess try doing a search or just wait till spring, thats when most people like to show off new body mods and fresh paint jobs.

he may mean the aftermarket projectors.

Anyhow to make the lights fit requires major body and paint work. Not worth it, if you have been in a frontal, neet to repaint the car, and use the 2k2 2k3 OEM HID set up ($1,000 in itself) it could be justified. But IMO not worth it even for a show car.

actually! i think he meant retro-fitting in projectors into the 4th gen housing... youll have to look at the stickies in the 4th gen forums for more info on that.

why the hella would you want to do that. Waste of money. Put it into a body kit, hood and some wheels.

I think the finished product would look good without the Z3 fenders and some nice paint.

Well I'm not a fan of headlight conversions but that blue 4th gen with them doesn't look bad, except for the fact that it's unfinished. I hate Z3 fenders and don't really dig the hood scoop, but that car is turbocharged, so the hoodscoop could be justified.
