Headers!!!!!
This company, The Other Guys makes headers for the GTP. They're only $850.
Everyone should petition them to start developing them for the max. They have an Email form on their page.

Easily one of the most dedicated maxima ppl.. u didnt bail n get another car yet.. (or did, but still work on max
)Anyways, hope my car holds up that long, auto + sc .. i think ill be selling my intake & ecu soon.. screw that 100/hr tuning crap.
The header process is going to be a long one, but I guarantee worth the wait. The process will be to maximize the OEM manifolds, then build a platform based on them.
I'm not actually building the headers, but a friend of a friend is, and its a long-distance type thing. He's been doing this for like 40 years or something. The guy that is laying out the design builds headers for racing engines, and doesn't mass produce.
Issues to consider are space, size of tubes, backpressure, etc. Its a trial and error thing (sound familiar).
My goal is to get the most out of these that anyone would be able to get, and try to keep the cost down. Its looking like a cost of around $800 for a set, but it will depend on how many I can get built, so when I get final numbers on hp gains, etc, I will have more info for you.

I was under my car a few days ago and I noticed that it will be nearly impossible to remove the rear manifold without removing the engine. It's possible, but I can see a lot of people snapping manifold bolts.
