Almost Time
Hey guys,
Just sharing some thoughts, as I'm getting impatient waiting for my appointment at this local nissan dealership to take this 2k3 out for a test drive.
some facts
2k3
Charcoal
6 spd manual
23,842 miles
15k sticker, minus my trade in, minus whatever I can argue them down to.
One owner, I believe its a certified pre-owned also
wooo.....I have a good feeling bout this one.
could be the owner of my first maxima by 6 pm. eastern tonight.
Wish me luck

15k does sound very cheap, they most likely will lose money on that deal(thats a few thousand below retail) and I doubt you can get lower than that. I havent seen one 2k3 on a dealer lot for near that low especially with 23k miles.

I got mine in late September with just over 20K on the clock. It has all options including nav... and a 6-speed, of course. I think with it being certified with a 100K bumper to bumper wrap warranty it came in at just over 21K. I could be wrong but I that's close to right. I know that I didn't think I was being taken for a ride nor that I was pulling one over on the dealership. With taxes and state fees and tag fees and all the other bull it was still just over the retail on KBB / NADA for a certified car.
What kind of trade-in are they giving you? Make sure they don't screw you on the back end. Lots of dealerships will let you think they are letting you rob them with the price of their car only to tack on a ton of "other charges" in the finance office or low-ball your trade or both (and more).
15K seems kinda low. But you may know the dealership well so we may all be worried for nothing! I know the owner of my dealer pretty well and purchased an 05 Altima from him before purchasing my Max so that helps.
Good luck and I hope you enjoy your Max!
