Interior Lights Out Need Help

Wassup all Iv been using the .org to look up mods for My 01 AE Black on Black MAX for(heres my site http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/657137
) awhile but Im finally registered and need yall's help. I was doing the entire stock bulb to LED swap over to bright white LEDs. I did the door switches nad I was doing the dimmer switch next to the steering wheel and after soldering the new LED up it worked then burnt out and all my door switches, gauges and a/c lights (a/c only off when healights are on) all no workie!?!?! I fumbled w. the switch then all my parking lights went out It sounded like a blown fuse and I checked over and over agin but only 1 blown fuse which made my parking lights come on but still no door/gauge and instrument lights. I had my cluster all apart so I went ahead and did gauges w. white leds and put leds in the PARK and Drive gear light and went to install. Now my Service Engine Light is on and still no fix. I think it must be that dmmer switch assembly any1 have 1 for sale cheap or all help is appreciated. Also any1 done the white LED switch on the AE gauges and cleared the needles i think its impossible bc our needles are diff then earlier models and the sandpaper I had wasnt doing the trick. Lots of ?s no answers Please Help???!?!!!!!!

C'mon now the LEDS and resistors arent the problem those worked fine for a few days its sumptin to do w. the dimmer illumination switch or a fuse/relay past that point I fig some1 has done some modding and made all their interior lights go out all of mine are out completely when Headlights are on no a/c, no clock, no door, shift lights or gauge lights(except rear window switch lights are on). This is a all in 1 fail 1 component is causing all these lights to not come on. Its nuttin to do w. the resistors wheres the real help???

It's probably your BCM. My pos and neg touched on the LED for the ign. switch and it took out my dome light, light for ign. switch, and ashtray light.

Resistors would not short a fuse, but pos and neg leads making contact on the other hand...

Oh, and for the record, you DO need an LED for that position.
