The muffler I had before was just too loud for my family and the neighbors. The car is alot more comfortable to drive now. I appreciate everyone's advice about putting a 2001 muffler on but it would cost money I don't have.
Plus I like being more of a sleeper than a 4 door with a fart can!!

I am with you man. I have a 2k muffler for my 92, I like it cause the 92 comes stock with dual tips and the 2k looks very similar to stock and will still perform well with mods. I am now looking for a quiet muffler for the 97 that has a stock look to it. I just want it to perform with mods and not break up inside.

 

The main thing for me was the droning noise. My girlfriend was joking that alot of her stress was attributed to my car being so uncomfortable to ride in!! lol.

 

I agree with you guys.... I have heard some cars and just do not understand how you can ride in it, listen to the radio and even talk since the exhaust is so loud

same here. i got an OBX catback (like greddy) a few weeks back (stock system rusted out) and i do like it but it just dont look right on the car. its not all that loud, especially inside but i bought a stock mufflerthis week and hoping to put it on next week.
