3.5 problems
Well today the 3.5 gave up and started knocking. I knew i should have passed on the water damaged VQ35. So tomorrow i call for a new motor.

Anyway, they usually don't know what condition things are in when they get them. But they don't care because they paid nothing or next to that for it. So in the worst case scenario, they take back what they sold, at the buyers expense as far as shipping both ways. The only exception was in the old days they installed heat tabs at the cyl. head(s). Because they usually sell the motor sans cooling system and fuel system. So if you hook up a faulty cooling system and melt the motor, the tabs melt and they don't take it back. But a shop that knowingly sells a motor that doesn't run and doesn't take it back, is not a good shop imho.
